Purpose of the course: It is an important requirement to use and share geo-data sets coming from different Geographical Information Systems (GIS) applications at local, national, regional, and global levels. Spatial/Geographic Data Infrastructure and Turkey National GIS concept has been came out because of this need. Thus in this course, it is aimed to determine an integrated data management approach with respect to policy, standard, and technology aspects. That provides geo-data interoperability at different levels on the electronic network.
